Exciting thing this week - new bras! I have been in denial that I need new bras. I have been ignoring the red marks on my sides and the blump of boob spilling out of the cup. My sister came over and completely surprised me with 4 (yes 4!!) bras! I think I heard angels sing when I opened the box and there they were. Buuuuuut, unfortunately, they were too small. Yes, one size bigger was still too small. We went back to the preggo momma store and had a major try on session. I'm slightly embarrassed that I went from a 36B to a 38D. D! Yowza! They are so comfortable and so supportive and I feel really great in them. Thank you sissy!!!
I also got one of those elastic tube top looking things to put over my unbuttoned non maternity jeans so they won't fall down. Ahhhhh, comfort at last! I was surprised it actually worked - it actually held up my pants! We went out for a friends bachelorette party last night - dinner and a drag show. So much fun!!! I even indulged and sipped on a shirley temple...pink and fizzy with fruit in it. Almost a cocktail ;-) With my new bras and my cute jeans, I was one sassy momma.
How far along: 10 weeks on the money!
Total weight gain: I think really just 2 lbs
Maternity clothes: Confession, the bras are nursing bras. Hopefully they'll be able to go the distance and I won't need to buy a second round of bras but the way these puppies are growing, who knows!!
Symptoms: I have a teeny tiny bump and giant knockers. This week was also rough with the nausea. I was mid-sentence at work and got hit by a giant wave. I didn't actually toss my cookies, and haven't tossed them yet, but I thought it could happen that day.
Stretch marks: Not yet
Sleep: Sleep is good
Best moment of this week: Going from feeling like a fat frump ball who just wanted sweats to feeling pretty and cute :)
What's new this week: The baby goes from an embryo to a fetus at the end of this week! It's about 1 1/4 inches long and it's head is half of it's length. Alien baby! Tail is gone, webbed fingers and toes is gone. All the internal organs have completed their development and the heart is almost fully formed.
Miss anything: Sometimes I miss being able to button my pants but I have the solution. Sometimes I miss moments of sanity.
Movement: The baby is supposedly moving around in there but I can't tell just yet. I'm so excited to feel the baby move in there!
Food cravings: This week I can't get enough dairy. I went through a half gallon of milk in 3 days and still want more!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Sometimes the milk gives me a tummy ache :-/ Whomp whomp
Have you started to show yet: I can tell but no one else can
Gender: Jessica had a dream it was a boy and I have been having a strong boy vibe the last few weeks. Who knows!?
Labor signs: Negative
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time: 50/50 this week
Looking forward to: Our first prenatal appointment this Thursday!! I'm hoping they'll listen to the baby's heartbeat again!!
Congrats girls! I am SO happy for you! I am so excited to be following your blog and keeping up now! Best of luck! =)
